The non-latching mini relay FeatherWing gives you control over power so you can now turn on and off various devices including lamps, fans, solenoids. In fact, you can switch power for many small appliances that run on up to 250 V ac but you need check the amount of power – 60 W or less. The non-latching relay, requires a single control pin, the SET pin. When set to high, the relay switches and a red LED lights. If power is lost then the relay will go back open. In terms of how much power, you can switch up to 2A of resistive current at up to 30 V dc or 40 V ac. At 110 V dc, switch up to 0.3A, at 120 V ac up to 0.5 A, and at 250 V ac you can switch up to 0.6A. Check the datasheet for more details. A 3-pin terminal block is supplied with this FeatherWing to wire it up with the device you are controlling and some light soldering is required.
