Allen Bradley Guardmaster Ferrogard 6, 9 & 10 Slim Non Contact Safety Switch Enhance the safety and security of your machine guards and provide essential protection for personnel with the Ferrogard FRS, 6 9 and 10 by Allen Bradley Guardmaster. These magnetically actuated non-contact safety switches are specially designed to be installed on guard doors and work by immediately cutting off the power supply to a machine when the safety guard or gate is opened, thereby restricting unsafe access for personnel to a hazardous area. The magnetic actuator is removed from the switch when the door is released, which then opens the NC safety contacts. They offer reliability and a high tolerance to misalignment due to their large sensing field. These switches are dust-tight and are highly suitable for wet environments as they are sealed to IP67 (NEMA 6P). With two active sensing faces, they offer a wider range of mounting options for your convenience. This switch is moulded in ABS plastic with a slim rectangular housing, making it perfect for narrow mounting areas.
