The MCP2562FD‑E/MF from Microchip Technology is a high‑speed CAN FD (Flexible Data Rate) transceiver, optimised for data rates of 2 Mbps, 5 Mbps and 8 Mbps, and compliant with ISO 11898‑2 and ISO 11898‑5 physical‑layer standards. Featuring a single-channel, 8‑pin DFN (3 × 3 mm) surface-mount package, this device supports vehicle and industrial network nodes with a supply voltage between 4.5 V and 5.5 V, a logic I/O interface (via the VIO pin) from 1.8 V to 5.5 V, and very low standby current. This transceiver protects the CAN bus during unpowered states, provides loop‑delay symmetry (<±10% at 2 Mbps) and maximises propagation performance with a maximum propagation delay of 120 ns.
