RS Pro DIN Rail Mount Power Supplies From RS Pro a range of high-performance power supplies in a compact 35mm DIN rail mounting package for convenience and space saving. These DIN rail mount power supplies are available with a range of power ratings from 15 W to 240 W and accept single-phase AC input for conversion into a single DC output of either 12V, 15V, 24V or 48V DC. What is a DIN Rail Power Supply? A DIN rail mounting power supply, also known as an electric power converter is a convenient means of supplying power to DC operated equipment. The power supply is mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail which is a standard sized metal strip on to which electronic devices such as circuit breakers, relays, motor starters and PLCs can be mounted enabling the assembly of very compact systems. How Does a DIN Rail Power Supply Work? Some electrical appliances require power but lack the internal components to derive the required voltage and power from the AC (alternating current) mains power. The DIN rail power supply solves this problem by converting the AC mains input voltage into a usable DC (Direct Current) output voltage. The power supply unit is connected to an incoming AC mains power source and the device requiring power is connected to the power supply with a suitable power cable and connector. The power supply unit then converts the incoming AC current into the correct single output voltage, current and frequency which is then supplied to the device through the cable. Features and Benefits These DIN rail power supplies have the following features and benefits: • Compact 35mm DIN rail mounting package • Single phase input voltage • Universal AC input voltage range from 90 to 264 Vac • High performance and reliability • 100% full load burn-in test – a burn-in test is a form of stress testing to detect early failures. • Cooling by Free Air Convection – the heat given off by this power supply is cooled off by the free air circulating around it as opposed to being fan cooled •...

TPC 055-112, TRACOPOWER

TPC Series 20 W to 120 W The TPC series is a family of DIN Rail power supplies operating with high efficiency to comply with the requirements of the European Ecodesign directive. These DIN Rail PSUs have universal input of 85 V ac to 264 V ac or 90 V dc to 375 V dc and are designed for class 1 operation. With the optional active current sharing redundancy module, these power supplies provide a reliable true redundant DC supply. With the optional redundancy modules, the power supplies are able to achieve a reliable redundant DC supply. In normal operation, the module achieves equal current share for both power supplies connected. If one of the power supplies fails, the output power is provided in full by the remaining operating power supply. Features and Benefits •High efficiency across full load range •Output voltage adjustable •Low ripple and noise •Overload and short circuit protection •Compact plastic case •DIN Rail mountable Product Application Information For use in industrial, office and residential environments. Note The redundancy of the DC system is monitored by a DC-OK signal TPC–REM240–24 Output 24 VDC, RS 808-6673 TPC–REM240–48 Output 48 VDC, RS 808-6677 "
