The Otto HTWM-1A12A22 is a rugged, precision Hall-effect thumbwheel designed for direct PCB through-hole mounting in harsh industrial environments. Operating on a DC supply voltage of 4.5 V to 5.5 V, the device outputs a full-travel linear voltage change from centre (2.5 V nominal) with a maximum source current of 10 mA. The unit operates reliably across a wide temperature range from –40 °C to +85 °C.
The HTWM-1A12A22 uses non-contact Hall sensing to deliver accurate angular thumbwheel position data while eliminating mechanical wiper wear. The sealed, compact form factor with shorter behind-panel depth suits tight panel or armrest installations where clean, user-accessible control is needed.
