The Marlow Industries, Inc. TG12-8-01LS is a thermoelectric generator that produces electrical power directly from heat. It generates up to 1.2 watts of output at a 50 °C temperature difference and is built to operate in environments where temperatures can reach 200 °C. This device is typically used where waste heat is available, and conventional power sources are impractical.
This TEG uses the thermoelectric effect to convert heat energy into electrical energy. When one side of the module is hot and the other is cooler, current flows through the device.
The TG12-8-01LS is built for steady thermal conditions rather than short bursts. It is typically mounted between a heat source and a heat sink to maintain a stable temperature gradient.
This thermoelectric generator is typically used in applications where small amounts of continuous power are needed, and heat is already present.
