8 pin relay is constructed of 5 main parts; Coil, Armature, Contacts, Base, Molded Plastic Frame. It works on the principle of electromagnetic force. When the coil is energized, it becomes magnetized. The armature attracts to the coil by magnetic force and moves towards it until it comes to rest against the coil’s iron core. The 8 pin relay 220V is manufactured by Finder, an Italian company.
The 2 common contacts carry the voltage that is connected to another electrical device. When the relay becomes de-energized, the common contacts are in contact with the normally closed contacts. A relay acts as an electrical switch.
If you want to measure or test the energized condition of the relay contacts, use a digital multimeter.
The 8 pin relays protect devices from overload voltage and current. It prevents the electrical circuit from damage. Another common application of relays is its use in automatic stabilizers. When the input voltage is less than the rated voltage required for the appliance, the relay adjusts the voltage. It has quick output, extended life period and enhanced reliability. The tripping is minimal and because of this, its efficiency increases. They have applications in various industries including aeronautical, electrical, medical and space.
