The Festo ESS-6-SN is a compact flat suction cup designed for handling small, lightweight parts. With a 6 mm diameter and a holding force of 1.1 N, it is mainly used in precise pick-and-place operations where controlled grip matters more than high lifting power. It works well in automated systems that handle delicate components without damaging their surface. This suction cup is typically installed in pneumatic handling setups where repeatability and consistency are more important than raw force.
The flat profile allows the suction cup to seal properly on even, non-porous surfaces. It performs best on smooth materials such as plastic parts, metal components, glass, or coated surfaces.
