The Festo MHE2-M1H-3/2G-QS-4-K is a small 3/2-way solenoid valve designed for basic pneumatic switching tasks. It is usually closed and monostable, meaning the valve changes state when powered and returns to its default position when power is removed. This makes it suitable for controlled air-on/off functions that require predictable behaviour. Running on 24 V DC, this valve is commonly used in automated machines, compact control panels, and modular pneumatic systems.
This valve controls airflow to a single pneumatic line, typically used to extend or retract small cylinders or to switch pilot air signals. Because it is usually closed, air flows only when the solenoid is energised, which helps improve safety and reduce unwanted air consumption.
