Burkert Profile

Burket a highly reputed brand which has left its mark as a leading partner in fluid control systems. The company have been dedicating lots and lots of time and energy for more than 70 years to deliver the best liquids and gas control systems. The company was founded in 1946 by Christian Bürkert in Germany, who started developing and manufacturing products like oven controls, foot warmers and thermal control systems for incubators. Such kinds of products met the needs of the time; however, after many years, the firm has increasingly centred on valve technology and soon became an international standard for industrial solenoid valves.

The founder of the company, Christian Bürkert, created an organization that is now a leader in fluid control systems thanks to his combination of vision, creativity, and tremendous energy. The company provides everything from single valves to cutting-edge sensors, all of which are produced to the highest standards and use cutting-edge technology. Premium quality products contributed by the company include solenoid valves, microfluidic valves & pumps, mass flow controllers, sensors, transmitters and controllers, process and control valves, electromotive valves, and pneumatic and process control interfaces, among others, are considered the best products by users of many working fields.

I pre-ordered with Burkert in 2019. I knew at the time that pre-ordering was like a Kickstarter pledge and built on trust. While Burkert has yet to deliver (although they are on the next batch of orders to deliver), their commitment to keeping all investors/customers informed of their progress and challenges is exemplary and their products, based on real data from others who have received their orders are top notch. I look forward to receiving and using my Burkert products and have no hesitation in standing by them as a reputable and trustworthy company.

Don’t hesitate to ask questions for better clarification.

DS6281-EV 2/2 Solenoid Valve - Brass Bodied A 2 way servo assisted solenoid valve suitable for use with neutral fluids such as compressed air and water. N/C (Normally Closed) and N/O (Normally Open) versions available with NBR (Nitrile Rubber) or FKM (Fluroelastomer) seals. Usable for a variety of applications including heating and refrigeration, water treatment, compressed air and vacuum systems. 0.1 - 4 second response time (dependant upon pressure) IP65 Rated (with cable protection) Brass body Quiet operation Water hammer free design Compact installation length NPT / Rc connection ports 0.2 - 16 Bar pressure range Compact solenoid valves suitable for most gas and fluid handling applications. Where practical, valves are shown with a schematic diagram showing the (circuit) function. The diagram is laid out so that the left-hand side of the diagram describes the valves operation when the coil is energised. When the coil is de-energised, the spring (or servo-assist) return controls the valve and is described on the right-hand side of the diagram. The 3 / 2-way designation indicates a valve with three ports and two modes of operation. It is normal practice to refer to 2 / 2-way valves as two ways. The port designations A, B, P, P1, P2 and R are used on the schematic diagrams and are marked on the valve bodies. Valve bodies are marked for a specific circuit function but can often be used for other functions. Reference to the schematic diagrams and technical specifications indicates the appropriate connections and pressure capabilities when an alternative circuit function is required.

2/2 Proportional Flow Valve - 2875 Series Burkert proportional solenoid valves provide continuously adjustable and smooth control over the flow of fluid passing through them. Unlike conventional solenoid and process valves which offer only On or off control, Burkert 2875series process valves use PWM (pulse width modulation) to give you the ability to adjust the flow from 0 to 100 percent. Design features such as the frictionless installation of the valve plunger, for exceptionally accurate adjustment and the tight sealing elastomeric seat make this the ideal valve for demanding and high accuracy control. Features and Benefits •Direct acting operation •Available in either brass or stainless steel •Excellent response time •Globe valve operating principle •IP65 •Plunger valve actuator •25 ms response time •16 W power consumption •900Hz PWM frequency •100% continuously rated duty cycle •Repeatability of less than 0.5% of full scale •Less than 5% hysteresis Two-way Valves and Control Modules Valves and control modules designed specifically to operate together, provide a valve opening which is proportional to the input signal and allows this to be correlated to the respective operating conditions.
