RS PRO Solenoid Valve, 2 port, NC, 24 V DC, 3/8 inch Solenoid valves are electromechanically operated components used to control the rate of flow in systems powered by liquids or air. These two-way valves can be used anywhere that gas or fluid flow needs to be automatically controlled, such as in fire extinguishing, sprinkler or water jet systems. This RS PRO solenoid valve has a connection size of 3/8 inch (other connection sizes are also available). It's made from forged brass which will protect your system from rust. It's a two-port normally closed (NC) valve and offers the choice of 230 V AC or 24 V DC coils to suit the required voltage of the system. The valve will operate in a temperature range of -20°C to +90°C and its maximum working pressure is 15 bar. The valve meets the requirements of European and US ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 electrostatic control standards.
