The Festo VZWD-L-M22C-M-G14-10-V-3AP4-50 is a 2/2-way, normally closed solenoid valve used to control the start and stop of air, gas, or compatible fluids in industrial systems. In its default state, the valve stays closed and only opens when electrically energised. This makes it suitable for applications where the flow must stop automatically if power is lost. It is typically used in automation setups where simple, reliable on-off control is more important than complex flow regulation.
This valve operates in a monostable configuration. When power is applied, the solenoid actuates and opens the valve. Once power is removed, the internal spring returns it to the closed position.
