The Festo VZWD-L-M22C-M-G14-25-V-1P4-8 is a 2/2-way, normally closed solenoid valve designed for simple, reliable on/off control of compressed air. It opens when energised and returns to its closed position when power is removed, thanks to its monostable design. This makes it suitable for applications where airflow must stop automatically during power loss. With a G 1/4 pneumatic connection, the valve fits easily into standard industrial air lines and compact machine layouts.
This valve works simply. When voltage is applied, the solenoid lifts the internal seal, allowing air to pass through. Once power is cut, the valve immediately closes, blocking the flow.
