The Festo SMBR-8-12 is a mounting kit designed specifically for use with Festo SMAT series position transmitters. Its purpose is straightforward: to securely fix the sensor onto the actuator so it stays aligned and stable during operation. This is not a universal bracket or an adjustable workaround. It is designed to properly match the SMAT series, helping avoid positioning issues and unreliable readings caused by loose or incorrect mounting.
The SMBR-8-12 kit ensures the position transmitter is mounted correctly and remains in place during movement, vibration, and repeated cycles.
