The Festo FK-M6 is a self-aligning rod coupler used to connect a pneumatic cylinder rod to a driven load. Its job is straightforward: allow slight misalignment so the cylinder can move freely without side loading or binding. This helps protect the cylinder rod and seals during operation. It is typically used in compact automation setups where exact alignment is difficult to achieve or changes slightly during motion.
