Microchip's RN-UFL SMA is a polarity SMA connector with a 6" coax cable suitable for connecting antenna systems.
The Microchip RN-UFL-SMA6 is a high-quality RF coaxial cable assembly engineered to bridge the gap between internal wireless modules and external antennas. This 6-inch (152.4mm) adapter features a right-angle U.FL connector on one end and a bulkhead-mounted RP-SMA jack on the other. It is specifically designed to facilitate seamless connectivity for WiFi and Bluetooth modules, ensuring minimal signal loss and consistent 50-ohm impedance for sensitive radio frequency transmissions up to 5 GHz.
This Microchip RN-UFL-SMA6 coaxial cable assembly is essential for engineers needing to extend wireless range by connecting compact surface-mount modules to high-gain external antennas.

I mostly use these cables for SDR receivers to help provide extension when needed, especially for mobile applications. I test each one I get and so far they have been consistent and I seem to be getting what was expected. The cable itself appears to be of decent quality, RG174/U as stated, which is 50 ohm 26 AWG stranded wire with a 2.5mm OD PVC jacket. As with most Amphenol products, the quality is very good! I have had no reception problems so far.
