Trantorque® Keyless Bushes
Trantorque® steel bushes are a solution to the problems of keyed mountings - in effect a keyless bushing suited to critical timing and high-torque applications. The device is a single nut locking bushing with interlocking components that ensure positive release. To select the most suitable bush for your application, choose the bore size appropriate to your shaft diameter and determine that the outside diameter and torque rating will be adequate.

Caution
To select the correct bush and hub the external diameter of the outer hub should be sufficient to withstand the stresses exerted. To calculate the size, multiply the bush outside diameter by the relevant factor: Steel x 1.7, Cast Iron x 2.2, Aluminium x 2.7. If the selected hub diameter is greater than or equal to the calculated size, then the selected size is suitable.
