LVDT
LVDT (Linear Variable Differential Transformer) sensors are non-contact position sensors used to measure the position and/or displacement of an object in a linear motion. LVDT sensors are composed of three primary components: a primary coil, a secondary coil, and a core. The primary coil is excited by an AC source, which produces an alternating magnetic field.
