The MTL 5544 is a dual-channel transmitter power supply and isolation zener barrier engineered for industrial process control applications. It provides fully floating DC supplies to energise two 2-wire or 3-wire 4-20 mA or HART transmitters located in hazardous areas, while repeating the signal to safe-area loads. With a maximum safe-area voltage rating of 28 V and an input supply of 20-35 V DC, it maintains loop integrity and supports bidirectional HART communication when required.
The MTL 5544 is engineered for environments where intrinsic safety and signal integrity are critical. With certified functional-safety ratings, this unit supports safety-instrumented systems (SIS) and industrial control architectures with traceability and reliability.
