Make sure you shake it first. I use this locking adhesive purple, for medium locks and orange for heavy locks. I've never used red: I'm always afraid that red will definitely block the thread. I love these things. Thicker than 'Red' holds up better than 'Blue'. It can be disassembled if necessary, but it is tuff. Ideal for scope mounting bolts, muzzle fixtures, etc. Anywhere you want a nut or bolt NOT to vibrate loose. Uses abound everywhere on vehicles, motorcycles, ANY motorized equipment. 5 stars for the product.
