The Festo CPX-FB37 Bus Node connects a CPX terminal to a higher-level control system via a fieldbus network. It acts as the communication bridge between the PLC and the CPX valve or I/O system, allowing signals, diagnostics, and commands to pass reliably during machine operation. This module is designed for industrial automation setups where stable communication and predictable behaviour matter more than fancy features.
The CPX-FB37 handles data exchange between the control system and the CPX terminal. Once installed, it allows the PLC to read inputs, control outputs, and monitor system status through the fieldbus connection. In simple terms, it ensures the CPX system communicates properly with the rest of the machine.
This bus node is made to fit cleanly into CPX assemblies. It mounts directly onto the CPX terminal and integrates without extra adapters or complex wiring.
