The Festo DSNU-20-60-PPS-A is a double-acting pneumatic cylinder designed for controlled linear movement in automated and industrial systems. It uses compressed air on both sides of the piston, which allows consistent force during extension and retraction. With a 20 mm bore and 60 mm stroke, this cylinder is commonly used where space is limited but reliable motion is required. This model follows ISO-standard dimensions, making it easy to replace or integrate into existing pneumatic systems without redesigning the system.
The cylinder converts air pressure into straight-line mechanical movement. Because it is double-acting, it offers better control than single-acting cylinders, especially in applications where return force and positioning matter.
This version includes PPS adjustable pneumatic cushioning at both ends of the stroke. Cushioning slows the piston before it reaches the end position, reducing impact, vibration, and wear on the system.
It fits well in automation setups where predictable, repeatable motion is more important than high force output.
