The Festo SNCS-50 swivel flange is a mounting accessory designed for use with Festo DNC series standard pneumatic cylinders. Its job is straightforward: it allows the cylinder to pivot during operation, keeping movement smooth and aligned. This reduces stress on the cylinder body and mounting points, especially in applications where motion is not perfectly linear. It is typically used in automation systems where controlled movement and long service life matter more than complex mounting setups.
This swivel flange connects to the cylinder end and allows slight angular movement while the cylinder extends or retracts. That movement helps compensate for misalignment between the cylinder and the load.
The SNCS-50 is explicitly sized for 50 mm bore DNC series cylinders. It is built from durable metal to handle repeated motion and industrial operating conditions.
