The ZF GS100701 is a compact, panel‑mount Hall‑effect gear‑tooth speed sensor designed for ferrous‑edge detection and near‑zero speed applications in industrial automation and motion control systems. Supporting a wide supply‑voltage range from 4.5 V to 24 V dc and a switching (sink) current rating up to 25 mA, this NPN (sinking) output sensor delivers reliable performance across demanding environments. Its anodised aluminium housing offers mechanical robustness and the IP67 (or above) rating protects against harsh industrial conditions.
The GS100701 sensor is engineered to maintain precise switching reliability in dynamic systems such as gear trains, motor shafts and rotating mechanical assemblies. The Hall‑effect detection mechanism delivers consistent trigger thresholds even at low speeds or standstill, aiding diagnostics and preventative maintenance applications. With robust protection and a broad supply‑voltage tolerance, it fits into embedded automation frameworks where spatial constraints, environmental robustness and signal integrity matter.
