I've used this for a 5V power supply and a nodeMCU connected to an addressable LED strip light. I wanted something that would keep the controller dry and this seems to work as it has a rubber gasket around the lid and rubber plugs for the holes. I was able to thread a Dollarama outdoor extension cord (I used an x-acto knife to cut the outer rubber off the plug a bit) through one hole, and then used the other hole for the lights wire (I cut a small hole in the socket and passed the wire through it). Overall it's exactly what I was looking for. I wish it came with a few screws to attach it to something, but that's not a big deal. I would recommend getting a bigger box than you expect just for peace of mind.
