The Festo MS4-LFR-1/4-D7-CRM-AS is a manual filter regulator used to clean and control compressed air before it reaches pneumatic equipment. It removes solid particles down to 5 µm and regulates pressure in one compact unit, helping protect valves, cylinders, and air tools from contamination and pressure fluctuations. This unit is generally installed in machine control panels, production lines, and pneumatic workstations where clean, stable air is required for consistent operation.
The filter section removes dirt, rust, and moisture particles from the air supply, while the regulator maintains a steady downstream pressure. This prevents premature wear on pneumatic components and avoids inconsistent machine behaviour caused by pressure spikes.
This model comes with G 1/4 ports, making it easy to integrate into standard pneumatic systems. It supports operating pressures up to 10 bar for UL applications and up to 14 bar maximum, which covers most industrial compressed air setups. The compact MS4 size allows installation even in limited panel space.
It is often placed upstream of valves and actuators to ensure clean, controlled air reaches sensitive components.
