I got it so I could use the old drill bit for the old drill bit I had. Modified for the SDS Max construction hammer. It looks and feels great and I have no problem using it multiple times. I used an SDS Plus drill bit to secure the running animal in the pool and drilled through the rock like soft butter so it didn't seem to drop the ftlb power for a blow... I would recommend this to anyone. I am very pleased with the performance and quality of this adapter.
