I brought this item to use with a bearded dragon that I plan to get. As the animal is a reptile a specific heat is required so I need something that gives accurate readings I have had no issues with this product and it seems to work very well from what I can tell the readings are good for a good product price. I would have definitely put 5 stars if it wasn't for that. The backlight is very useful.
