In residual current sensing, the current in electrical installations is monitored to determine the present value and signal when the response value is exceeded. The FG-R05 is a very sensitive DC/AC sensor that can sense any leakage current of both DC and AC. If DC leakage occurs, PIN 4 will change its state from low to high impedance. If an AC leakage occurs, then PIN 5 will alter its state from low level to high impedance. This sensor consists of a test coil that is useful for sensing the functioning of the sensor, and when you input an outside signal, it is suitable to pass a test current to the test coil. It signals the leakage current by giving out an output current, detecting any AC or DC leakage current.
