EA-EL 9000B Series 3U Electronic Loads with Multi-function Controller
EA-EL 9000B Series 19" 3U conventional electronic loads are adjustable and programmable. They come equipped with a high performance FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) controller with 16-bit resolution. EA-EL 9000B features include a flexible DC input range for use at high voltage or high current as required, within the nominal power rating. The TFT touch panel has an easy-to-operate intuitive menu structure. This integrates multiple functions such as a function generator with default wave forms (e.g. sinus, square, trapezoidal, ramp, arbitrary), memory, alarm manager and user profiles. It displays U/I/R/P values with 4-digit resolution. The DC input is highly stable and filtered with 0...100% adjustable parameters, very dynamic (30μs) and generates no ripple (FET linear technology). For external automated control, 9000B models have an on-board isolated 0-5V/0-10V analog and USB interface. An intelligent plugn play slot allows retrofitting optionally-available interface modules such as CANopen, Ethernet, Profibus and Modbus. EA-EL 9000B is an excellent choice for demanding load testing, to provide for reproducible test data, and is suitable for automated system integration to form heavy-duty load banks.

Aim-TTi LD400 Compact DC Electronic Load
The Aim-TTi LD400 is an inexpensive, versatile electronic load designed for evaluating and characterising a wide variety of DC power sources including batteries and solar cells as well as electronic power supply units. It has the voltage/current range, multiple operating modes and built-in transient generator to provide test solutions from the design laboratory through to the component test area. The LD400P version adds full bus remote control via USB, RS232, GPIB and LXI compliant LAN (Ethernet) interfaces.
The LD400 can operate at voltages below 500mV for currents up to 10A. At higher currents the minimum remains below 1V up to 40A and below 2V up to 80A. This low operating voltage allows the LD400 to be used in many low voltage applications for which other electronic loads may be unsuitable. The LD400 can operate at power levels up to 600W for periods of up to 1 minute. Short term loading is sufficient for many testing applications so this capability significantly increases usefulness. Maximum voltage and current are 80V and 80A with a maximum continuous power capability of 400W (plus the short term capability of 600W). An adjustable drop-out voltage can be set for testing batteries.

The new EA-EL 9000 T series of compact electronic DC loads offers three tower models for the daily application in research laboratories and even schools. Lower power ratings allow for a multitude of test applications while being cost effective and space saving. All models support the four regulation modes constant voltage (CV), constant current (CC), constant power (CP) and constant resistance (CR).
The core of the control circuit is a fast microprocessor which provides interesting features. Such as a true function generator with common functions like sine wave, rectangle or triangle, but also an arbitrary function. The colour TFT touch panel offers an intuitive manual operation, like it is prolific with smartphones or tablet computers. Response times during the control of the devices via analogue or digital interface improved by an ARM processor controlled hardware, compared to older electronic load series.
