PMIC-Power Factor Controller or Correction abbreviated as (PFC) integrated circuits (ICs) are components used in electronic circuits to increase the efficiency of components with lower power factors. Power factor is a metric used to determine how efficiently input power is used. Power factor correction (PFC) is intended to enhance power quality by increasing this efficiency.
