Touch-Safe Heater Touch-Safe heaters are designed for use in every application and area where enclosures and cases that house electrical / electronic components must be heated to avoid condensation and low temperatures. The aluminium heater body is covered with a plastic housing. This plastic housing enables the surface temperature to be significantly decreased in comparison to conventional aluminium heaters. With ever-increasing packing densities within panels and enclosures, this allows the gap between the heater and panel components to decrease. Some Touch-Safe models have an integrated thermostat. HVR Pentagon Anti-Condensation Heaters HVR Pentagon anti-condensation heaters have been designed for use where a low wattage heater is required to prevent condensation. They comprise a vitreous enamelled resistor mounted in a sheet steel case and have a removable perforated sheet steel cover. There is a cable entry grommet at each end and M4 terminal screws are provided on the resistor. Applications include switch and control gear cubicles. Note The recommended power rating required is 10W per square metre of enclosing surface, excluding the base.
