) for assembling AMP Latch type connectors onto round conductor ribbon cable. The kit comprises of a case, table clamp, pin, adapter holder, head and a pistol grip hand tool. The cam style handle of the pistol grip tool actuates the terminating mechanism inside the head. A ratchet mechanism ensures that the cam handle does not release until it is fully bottomed ensuring a secure connection is achieved. A ratchet pawl is available that can be used to release the handle before it is fully closed.
