Transistors Array

One important component related to the category of transistors is the transistor array. They consist of two or more transistors and often substrates. These are not like highly integrated circuits; these transistors can be used separately, just like discrete transistors. This means that the transistors in the array are not connected to achieve specific performance or implement a particular function. Transistor arrays usually consist of field-effect transistors or bipolar junction transistors. 

FETs

FET is abbreviated as field-effect transistors. These are electronic devices with three terminals that are usually used to control the flow of electric current with the help of the voltage that is supplied to its gate terminals. The three terminals are known as:

• Source: This is the terminal of a FET through which charge carriers can enter the channel.
• Drain: The terminal through which the charge carriers can leave the channel.
• Gate: The conductivity between the source and drain terminals is controlled through the Gate terminal.
