These FMK Series Metal Hood Backshells have a Large Inner Chamber and an Angled or Straight Cable Outlet. This large amount of internal space is particularly suitable for D-sub connectors with special contacts. The design of the FMK Series Metal Hood Backshell includes strain relief on the cable outlet. The FMK Series Metal Hood Backshell is easy to assemble thanks to the catch spring system and pre-mounted locking screws. The FMK Series Metal Hood Backshells can be used with engagement hooks and locking or knurled screws.

QM Range Plastic Rectangular
Connector shells in nylon, with type A and type B locking together and are shaped to ensure correct orientation before engagement. Type A is cable mounting. Type B, whilst basically snap-in chassis mounting, may also be cable mounted if an in-line connection is required. Both will accept pin or socket inserts, which fit easily into the shells without the use of special tools. The inserts may be soldered or crimped and are available in three wire entry sizes.,Use hole cutter stock no. 543-709 for 24 way. The Provertha Quick Lock range of D-Sub plastic hoods offers a Push_Pull locking system for easy, fast, blind-mating and secure connection of D-Sub cable connectors to D-Sub device interfaces. The 103 series of Quick Lock hoods have 2 cable inputs and the 104 series has 3 cable inputs. These Quick Lock hoods are suitable for use with crimp flanges, internal and external cable clamps.
