SMS series quick mating flame retardant cable mount wire to board / wire to wire plug housings with a compact design and a 'push to mate' and 'press & release to unmate' interconnection system that enables quick assembly and installation without the need for any additional hardware. These SMS series quick mating flame retardant cable mount plug connectors have polyamide PA 6 UL94-V0 housings which are fire and smoke resistant for railway indoor applications and are compliant to railway standards I3/F2 in accordance with NFF16101 & NFF16102 (fire and smoke standards). Additional features of these SMS series quick mating cable plug connectors include retaining latches for positive locking, pin protection skirts to prevent damage to the contacts and positive polarization keys to prevent mismating. Harting Han Ex Series, Hazardous Area Connectors
Han Ex series connectors meet all the conditions for connectivity solutions in areas with explosion protection requirements, including applications in mining and the chemical and process automation industries. These connectors are designed to meet the intrinsic safety requirements of the ignition protection class and can therefore be used in explosion-hazard areas 1 and 2. The housings alloy was selected so that it can be used in pulverised methane-coal dust atmospheres. These EX series connectors offer IP protection class 65 in mated condition and the blue colour indicates that an intrinsically safe circuit is present. The contact inserts of the Han EX series of connectors provide a high number of pins and meet the standards of the ignition protection class even in the tightest of spaces, termination is the patented Han-Quick Lock technology allowing time-saving and easy assembly without special tools. Featuring reliable and vibration-proof contacting provides maximum safety even in demanding applications, with cross-sections of 0.14 to 2.5mm
