RS PRO Cat6 LSZH Patch Cable
These RS PRO patch leads, also known as Ethernet patch cables are manufactured using Category 6 cables, commonly referred to as Cat 6 Cable or Cat6. They are electrical cables often used in office environments to connect computers to a network hub, router or Ethernet switch.
Low Smoke Zero Halogen, commonly termed as LSZH or LSOH cables are used where smoke emission and toxic fumes could cause harm to human health, as well as to essential equipment in the event of a fire. LSZH cables have an outer sheath material which produce lower levels of smoke and toxic fumes, and no acid gases. These are particularly beneficial to personnel exiting safely during a fire, as well as increasing the safety of the firefighting operation.
These RS PRO Cat 6 LSZH patch leads are available in different lengths and colours, which make the identification of the cable easy. The patch cable is made up of several thin strands of copper wire, which offer both kink protection and flexibility and are compatible for a 10-Gigabit Ethernet.

Care Instructions
When storing your Cat6 patch leads, we advise you lightly roll your cables into a loose coil, going with the natural curve of the wire. When not in use, we suggest the cables are stored in a protective case where dust and impurities will not get into the connector ends.
