This DisplayPort to DVI-D adapter cable is a simple way to connect your computer to a DVI device such as a projector or monitor. The lead has DisplayPort and DVI-D connectors, which means youll be able to make a direct video connection instead of using an adapter and separate cable. These cables are often used in trade show displays, homes and offices as well as in digital entertainment centres.
The DisplayPort interface was developed as a royalty-free alternative to HDMI and requires no additional software or drivers. The PVC cable supports both 8-bit and 10-bit deep colour displays and a video bandwidth of up to 10.8Gpbs. Theres a male 20-pin connector with a latch to prevent accidental disconnections and a strain relief on the end of the hood to support the cable.
