The AD589 is a PMIC- Voltage Reference that works as a Two-Terminal shunt-type regulator that allows a consistent 1.23V output voltage for a wide range of input currents from 50 µA to 5 mA. Considering that no frequency compensation is needed if additional filtering 1.2 is required for extremely low noise applications, where the minimum recommended capacitance is 1000pF. For input currents between 50 A and 5.0 mA, the AD589 2-terminal, inexpensive, temperature-compensated bandgap voltage reference that delivers a fixed 1.23 V output voltage. The matching and heat tracking of the on-chip components play a key role in the AD589's exceptional stability. Precision bipolar processing and thin-film technology from Analog Devices work together to deliver high performance at a reasonable price. Additionally, the output impedance of the active circuit is 10 lower than that of standard low-TC Zener diodes. With the help of this feature, the operation is possible without the need for any additional parts to preserve precision under varying load situations.
