The ams AS6221-AWLT-S is a fully integrated digital temperature sensor system that combines a silicon bandgap sensing element, a 16-bit analogue-to-digital converter, and a digital signal processing engine in a tiny 1.5 × 1.03 mm WLCSP package. The sensor operates from 1.71 V to 3.6 V, draws as little as 6 µA in active mode and 0.1 µA in standby, and delivers an accuracy of ±0.09 °C over 20 °C to 42 °C.
