An Acti 9 Residual Current Breaker with Overcurrent (RCBO) breaker is a type of RCB that is used in electrical systems. They offer protection against overloads and short circuits.
RCBOs protect against two types of faults. The first fault is Residual Current or commonly known as Earth leakage. It is an accidental break in a circuit through poor electrical wiring or do-it-yourself accidents such as drilling through a cable when cutting through a cable with the lawnmower. In this instance, the electricity must go somewhere, and choosing the easiest route travels through the drill to the human causing electric shock.
Features and Benefits:
Current Rating 16A
Senses minimum current of 30mA
Breaking Capacity at maximum voltage rating 240 V
Mounting Style is DIN RAIL MOUNT
The Tripping mechanism is thermal-magnetic
Thermal Contact type is Screw
Number of Poles are 1P+N
RCBO is a compact protection device that provides MCB overcurrent protection and earth fault protection in a single. Because of its small and compact size, it’s an ideal choice for installation in a small width allowing a greater number of RCBOs to be installed in one enclosure.
Another advantage of RCBO is reliable and discriminating residual current protection. The elimination of circuit breakers substantially reduces installation time and space requirements. When it comes to installation of Acti 9 RCBO, the installation is quick and ergonomic IP20B terminal shutters. It is highly durable with robust connections that provide twice the standard tightening torque. It is made of environmentally friendly materials that is 100% recyclable and recoverable.
Applications
Acti 9 RCBO works well in polluted environments and harsh weather conditions. It is suitable for motor circuit protection and direct current circuit protection. It protects from damage caused by flow of excessive current. It is more reliable and can be operated via a switch.
