The Festo QSL-V0-1/8-8 is a threaded-to-tube elbow adaptor used to connect an 8 mm pneumatic tube to an R 1/8 male threaded port. It is primarily used where straight fittings won’t fit due to space limitations or routing constraints. The 90-degree elbow design guides tubing cleanly without bending stress or kinks. This fitting is commonly used in industrial pneumatic systems where clean airflow, secure connections, and compact layouts are critical.
One side of the adaptor uses a standard R 1/8 male thread, while the other side features a push-in connection for 8 mm tubing. The push-in design allows fast installation without tools, while still holding the tube firmly once inserted.
The body is designed to handle normal operating pressures found in compressed air systems. It maintains a secure seal during operation and allows the tube to be removed and reinserted when system changes are required. The elbow shape helps reduce strain on tubing, which can extend hose life in moving or compact assemblies.
It is advantageous when space is limited or when tubing needs to turn immediately after the port.
