The Festo QST-1/4-4 is a pneumatic tee adaptor used to split or route compressed airlines in a system. It connects one R 1/4 male threaded port to two 4 mm push-in tube connections, making it useful for branching an air line without adding extra fittings or complexity. This adaptor is generally used in pneumatic control systems, automation setups, and machinery where space is limited and clean routing is required.
The threaded side screws directly into a valve, manifold, or air distribution block. The push-in ports allow quick connection of plastic pneumatic tubing without tools.
The QST series is designed for repeated use in industrial environments. Once the tube is inserted, it stays firmly in place while maintaining an airtight seal under normal operating pressure. Tubes can also be released easily when system changes are needed.
It is typically used wherever a single air supply needs to feed two pneumatic lines.
