These brushes are great for painting and that's why I bought them. I had a very old set from years ago and I wasn't even sure if I could find the same brushes again, but I was lucky. I'm so glad they're still in production! High quality at a great price. These brushes will last you years and years of use if you take good care of them and follow brush care protocols. I had my old set for about 4 years with heavy use then put it down for 10 years and went back to painting. I expect them to last me at least 4 more years so at this price point it's a great deal. They also have a good range of brush sizes and other sets are available eg flats. I highly recommend them.
