These basic on/off switches are ideal for places where dimming features are not desired. Places such as fans, fluorescent ballasts, outdoor security lights, and the like. They provide simple on/off functionality, "smart" on/off via the Lutron app, and in my case, advanced control via Home Assistant integration. It's great to see and control the status of my lights/fans wherever I am. Pairing the switches to your Lutron hub was pretty intuitive and easy to do. Just press a button while adding the switch in the app. The integration into Home Assistant was just as easy, Lutron's native integration is pretty smooth. To see examples of how I use these switches for advanced automation? If I take a shower, I use the humidity settings to turn the fans on or off. I also have motion detection which activates the lighting in the bathrooms, entryway, and closets. (I no longer have to "turn off the lights"!) For outdoor lighting, I can now control it based on AI-analyzed security cameras. No more security lights on due to snowfall, heavy rain, or animals - it's just for the people! It also has a search for lighting in the bathroom, entryway, and closet. (No more "turning off the lights"!) Outdoor lighting can now be controlled using AI Analytics security cameras. Heavy snow, heavy rain, or animals no longer turn on the security light. It's only for people! If you're looking for a smart switch, these are about as good as it gets. I am very satisfied with the advanced features provided by the host. Although expensive, "smart" upgrades complete with decking can add value to your home. We are happy to work with Lutron in our home. They are actually on the "Featured" list.
