The DeWALT DCF899P2-GB is a professional, high-torque impact wrench widely used for fastening applications in various settings. The cordless impact wrench has a 1/2” square drive with 950 Nm of releasing torque capability for effective tightest bolt removal. The high-performance product features a brushless motor with a speed of 1900 rpm for efficient torque delivery and socket retention applications. Moreover, with a 2400 bpm impact rate, the DCF899P2-GB has a voltage rating of 18V and a type G – British 3-pin plug with an adorable design. This portable product ensures comfortable operation with extreme reliability for longer periods. Furthermore, it is lightweight with a 3.3 kg weight and carries two 5.0 Ah batteries. In addition, it also integrates bright LEDs (white) for enhanced flashlight functionality and visibility applications.

This is an excellent tool. It's vastly superior to the pneumatic tool you've used in the past, among other things. My only comment is that the designers of this tool should consider repositioning the rotation direction selector in the next model update, or at least increasing the minimum force needed to change its position. The dial configuration is identical to almost all other DeWalt power tools. However, it is not a small and light tool, especially if powered by an 18V 5Ah battery and mounted on it a long impact wrench socket. I use it to remove the lugs from the wheels and wear gloves to handle the rims as most users probably do. Despite holding the tool handle firmly during operation, my hand inevitably tends to move upwards and often a part of the glove overlaps the selector, thus creating the conditions for an involuntary change of direction when removing a nut from the tool. it. the tool onto the next one. I don't think the ability to easily change the direction of rotation is an essential feature of this specific tool, unlike smaller power tools. By the way, using this tool to tighten wheel nuts is not a good idea (only a correctly set torque wrench can tell when the correct torque has been reached). My main concern is that if I inadvertently move the selector forward before attempting to remove a lug from the wheel, I might not notice the problem at first because the rotation of the bushing is negligible, but the huge torque generated could crack or damage the wheel. threaded stem. I have to check the switch position every time. Anyway, this is just a constructive comment. The tool is definitely a five star product and I am very happy with this purchase.
