Item arrived on time. Works exactly as described. A basic understanding of power supplies is required to ensure you are setting the correct tip settings and the correct voltage. I use it to power a Christmas ornament which normally takes 3 AA batteries to light up. The problem is that the batteries only last about 24 hours (only powering the ornament overnight). So I replaced the batteries with the DC converter to get the 4.5 volts needed for power. I just added a timer to turn it on and off during the night hours and it works great.
