8-memory This pocket sized 6-digit LCD optical tachometer has a measuring range of 30 to 30000 rpm. The unit operates by sensing reflected light from an integral source, and will sense any rotating shaft if there is sufficient contrast e.g. a keyway. Alternatively self-adhesive reflectors may be affixed to the shaft. Requires 4 x AAA size alkaline batteries (not supplied). 7 ranges, rpm, rps, m/min, cm/sec, f/min, in/sec, y/min 8 memory locations Auto power off 6-digit LCD Membrane type keyboard H x W x D: 121 x 58 x 30mm Remote sensor probe (available separately, RS Stock No. 546-6837 ). This ’plug-in probe’ allows access to limited access areas or it may be permanently affixed to a machine if required. A switch inside the battery compartment allows the use of the integral or remote sensor. Probe dimensions: 21mm dia. 58mm long. Lead length: 210mm coiled, 800mm extended. Contact measurement adaptor (available separately, RS Stock No. 546-6815 ). A clip-on, add-on unit which converts the tachometer from an optical to a contact tachometer. Supplied with 3 rubber cones and a surface speed wheel. Replacement probe sets are available separately.
