RS PRO 4 mm, 10 mm Stud ESD Grounding Cord 1 m Length Cord
RS PROs ESD (electrostatic discharge) grounding cord is suitable for making secure electrical connections between groundable points and an Electrostatic Protected Area (EPA). It provides greater safety on site for workers and visitors.
The yellow coiled ground wires come with 2.5 mm polyurethane insulation along with 1 MΩ resistors in each socket end. The grounding wires can withstand up to 1,250 V DC for at least one minute and feature a high-strength conductor for flexibility and strength. When grounded, the cord and its groundable point connection should always be shrouded by insulating material when accessible. The single resistor used in the cord should also be located near the groundable point.
The ESD grounding cord is 1 metre in length with stud sizes of 4 mm and 10 mm. It's reusable and complies with European safety standard EN 61340-5-1 for ESD protection.
