From RS PRO, this round cable stripper is ideal for removing the outer jacket of round multicore and single-core cables. It is able to cut through many types of insulation, including PVC and rubber.
The cables main advantage is its spring-loaded cable bracing action, which allows it to be attached to the cable or wire at any point along its length. Coupled with its ability to rotate the blade to ninety-degrees and perform longitudinal cuts, this means the cable conductors can be accessed at any point on the cable, via spiraling or jacket splitting.
This spring-loaded tool can circular-cut a jacket for quick end removal, end stripping, or spiralling for mid-span cuts. As such, this highly versatile cable stripping tool is ideal for challenging and custom cable management applications.
